5 suggestions to comb your kid curls
Do you keep a couple of earplugs only for when you have to comb your kid curls, too..? Weel, I have some good news for you: screams and cries are over!
Few, simple tricks to get incredible results: here are our experts tips to definitively eliminate the fear of the comb - both for you and for your kid.
- First of all, be careful to always keep hair ends healthy and strong, often asking the hair-dresser for a little trim: most of all in case of brittleness and split-ends, they are the main responsibles for the formation of knots.
- Before the wash, detangle your kid curls only using your hands: starting from the ends and way up to the roots (so to avoid creating huge knots and pulling hair), patiently separate one strand at a time, running your fingers through your kid curls to gently eliminate knots.
- Do the same when it's time to apply the Conditioner, before using the comb: not only you will eliminate most part of the knots, but your massage will also allow the conditioner to penetrate deeper into hair fibres and nourish them.
- Comb curls right after applying Conditioner, before rinsing, using a wooden wide-toothed comb or a tangle teezer.
- When you tuck in your kid, tie curls right at the top of the head with a loose hair tie or a scrunchie: they will not rub against the pillow, and the will not create knots.
