Styling for curly hair: the heat-proof hairstyles
Summer is the perfect time to go wild and experiment with hairstyles and hair accessories: hairstyles are a real lifesaver to face the heat and avoid always finding your neck wet!
Just remember that keeping curls tied up all the time shouldn't become a habit: forcing them into an unnatural position, in fact, alters the structure of the hair, lifts the cuticles and disperses the water contained in the shaft. This is why it is better to limit hairstyles to essential moments and use the Nourishing Mask and the Leave-In Moisturizing Cream more often in the summer, to always maintain good hydration!
If you are looking for ideas for your summer hairstyles, here are some ideas to inspire you:
1. Braids… intertwined
The braid never goes out of style! But why limit yourself to the simplest version when you can create a killer hairstyle with a little imagination: all you need is a little patience and many hairpins! Divide your hair into 3 equal parts and make a braid with each one; roll the braid in the middle and pin it like a chignon; position the right braid so as to stop the final part on the left, under the chignon; place the left braid and secure the end to the right, above the chignon.
2. Ponytail bis
To create a high and voluminous ponytail, a little trick is enough: you just need to make two ponytails, the first one a little higher, the second just below! The upper one will give volume and hide the lower one, which will create the illusion of very long hair.
3. Lifesaving headbands and bandanas
They are real summer must-haves: perfect for limiting perspiration on the forehead and neck, for hiding roots that are not voluminous and for adding color and pattern to your looks. You can use them with both loose and gathered curls: just wear them as a headband, tying the ends behind your head and leaving some front strands free.
All you have to do is test them all!
