Conditioner: why it is curly hair's best ally

Conditioner is probably the most underrated product when it comes to haircare, but it's actually one of the fundamental steps of the wash day routine, an incredible ally to balance the cleansing action of shampoo, to untangle and soften curls and prepare them for drying. Any good reason not to forget it in your routine?

1.Squish to Condish: the technique to learn

Once you have washed your hair and rinsed out the shampoo, apply the conditioner on completely wet lengths. Detangle the hair with your fingers or a wide-toothed wooden comb, then proceed to add water into the curls, squeezing them gently. By repeating this operation and "squeezing" the hair with water and conditioner, you will obtain softer and more hydrated locks. At the end of the procedure, do not remove the conditioner residues: in this way your curls will remain even softer and silkier!

 

2.The secret ingredient in Refresh

Before proceeding with the refresh, dilute a drop of Conditioner in the water you use to moisten the hair: it will immediately make it softer and allow the curls to absorb not only hydration but also nourishment.

 

3.Super hydration even in the gym

Before starting your workout, apply a bit of conditioner on the lengths: it will help create a film around the hair and close the cuticles.
